1950's

Our journey began in the 1950s when Karel Geybels, a farmer's son with an entrepreneurial spirit, purchased his first truck in Meerhout, Belgium. Initially focusing on transporting potatoes and coal throughout the Antwerp and Limburg provinces, he later established 'Geybels & Sons,' marking the company's first step into professional transportation.

1960's - 1970's

Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, the business transformed from its agricultural roots into a full-fledged family transport company, with several family members joining the enterprise. While one of Karel's sons maintained the potato business, his other son established Geybels Transport Service (GTS) in 1983, specializing in container transport to and from the growing Port of Antwerp.

1980's-1990's

By the late 1990s, the company had expanded to a fleet of 80 trucks and ventured into conventional transport. The new millennium marked another milestone as Ben Geybels, representing the third generation, joined the company. After gaining experience in all aspects of the business, Ben focused on building a robust organizational structure.

2000's - Present

Through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions, Group-GTS has secured its position as a leading logistics provider, offering diverse solutions while maintaining its family business values and commitment to sustainable growth.
