On our Way to Carbon Neutrality
We are dedicated to reducing our environmental impact and fully support Europe’s ambition to become the first CO₂-neutral continent by 2050. That’s why we have set an ambitious target to reduce our scope 1 & 2 emissions by 42% at 2030. By investing in innovative technologies, optimizing our processes, and encouraging eco-friendly driving, we are taking concrete steps towards a greener future.

On our way to Carbon Neutrality

Climate
At Group-GTS, we are committed to making a tangible difference in the fight against climate change. We have set ourselves the ambitious goal to reduce our scope 1 & 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 42%. This target reflects our determination to lead our sector toward a more sustainable future.

Energy
Energy efficiency and innovation play a central role in our journey to carbon neutrality. We aim for 35% of our total fuel usage to come from alternative fuels ( HVO100 ), significantly reducing our reliance on traditional diesel. Furthermore, we strive to consume no more than 26 litres of fuel per 100 km across our fleet. We are also accelerating the transition to cleaner vehicles: 15% of all short-distance and 4% of all long-distance transport will be electric or hybrid in the near future.

Pollution
We believe that cleaner transport starts with modern, high-performing equipment. That’s why we continue to invest in the latest technology, ensuring our vehicles and processes remain at the forefront of emission reduction and environmental performance.

We Transport Happiness

 At Group-GTS, creating a positive impact goes beyond logistics—we are committed to fostering happiness, well-being, and professional growth for our people and community.

We aim to be a top employer in the logistics sector by providing an attractive and supportive workplace for our employees. Our goal is to achieve a top-10 position in employee satisfaction (eNPS) within the industry. Our focus on health and safety is just as strong: we work continuously to keep our Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) at or below 6.4 and maintain absenteeism at a maximum of 2.5%.

People development is central to our approach. Every employee receives an annual personal development review and we ensure that at least half of all job vacancies consider internal candidates—giving our people room to grow. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are part of our DNA: 100% of our non-native speaking employees are offered language courses to help them thrive in an international environment.

Safety extends beyond our company. We actively collaborate with local communities on safety projects at least three times a year, promoting safer environments for everyone.

Our commitment begins with our customers. We will ensure that every customer and prospect is informed and engaged about our sustainable transport options. We also provide accurate CO₂ emissions data for all transport activities, enabling our partners to make conscious and impactful choices.

We set high standards within our organization as well. Every employee receives annual training on phishing awareness and cybersecurity, ensuring that digital safety remains a priority. Looking ahead, we are committed to fully integrating AI tools into our daily operations by 2030, so we can continue to drive innovation and efficiency across our business.

Collaboration is at the core of our approach. We require 100% of our key suppliers to complete and sign our ESG charter, embedding sustainability, ethics, and environmental responsibility throughout our supply chain.
